~He who calls you is faithful~

Hi friends! It has been ages; I've missed you! Have you ever noticed it is almost immediately after you finish telling someone just how good you have been doing that it seems that suddenly everything starts going downhill again? That has been me this week. I was gifted with some rare moments of time with close mentors this past week, a time to be honest with where we are in life and uplift each other up for God’s glory. The devil hates progress for the Lord; we know this. God tells us we will have such struggles in this life because of the great name we hold. So, I take this new season of tribulation and discrimination for my faith as a reward from Him  It shows His goodness, His protection, and His hold on my life in action. I will be thankful for that. I have been sensing myself rapidly slipping back into my old coping methods of handling stress recently. I haven’t experienced this in a long time before now; praise God for that. Throughout this summer, God has been faithful

~The Passion Project~

Hi Friends!      I have a question for you today...      What would you do if you had unlimited resources, finances were unlimited, and failure wasn't a possibility?      Now I want you to really think about that before you go ahead and answer. I am going to give you a little back story on why I felt inspired to ask you this question tonight. Actually, knowing me, it won't be anywhere near a "little" back story, most probably more like a million-page ramble, but then again, I guess I warned you when I named this blog, right? :)      Do you know how you can ask questions on Instagram now? Well, a friend of mine just posted a little while ago, asking people to tell her what they were passionate about. I responded and told her I was passionate about helping people and being the heart of service. And oh yeah, also passionate about cat socks, because well...duh, they are wonderful. Anyways, that's neither here nor there.      My pastor has been talking lately

365 Days of Transformation

Hi Friends!      It's been a while...Happy New Year, everyone! To catch you all up on the last few months, my life lately has been a complex and utterly cram-packed time of work, work, work, and oh yeah, some more work, traveling, stressful decision making, volunteering, and most of all growing into the Lord's plan for my life, and stepping into His radical grace.      Let me delve a bit more into this with you...I won’t pretend this is going to be short, so grab a cup of tea and a snack and settle in!      You know how on New Year's, the whole world bombards social media with their absolute best moments of the past year, proudly displaying their award-like photos for all to view? This is the new normal in today's culture, to show off ourselves and give a thank you for all to see to those in our past year, putting forth our monotone dreams that will undeniably be left in the dust a week after the new year starts. It happens. This is our normal state
